The Big Blue Nation doesn’t quite know how to feel about their Kentucky Wildcats basketball team at the moment.
Kentucky, at times this season has looked like a national championship contender and, at other times, has looked like a borderline tournament team.
Last Saturday, the Wildcats lost on the road to Auburn after sloppy play from Ashton Hagans and Nick Richards.
While the team rebounded with a big win over Mississippi State Tuesday that saw Richards post a career-high, the Big Blue Nation isn’t fully confident yet.
Of the Kentucky voters in SB Nation’s latest fan pulse survey, 75% said they’re confident in the Wildcats right now.
This is a 20% decrease from last week and a 25% decrease from two weeks ago.
The Wildcats will look to earn some of that fan confidence back this weekend when they look to snap a three-game losing streak at Thomas-Bowling Arena against the Tennessee Volunteers.
As for the national question of the week, the Fan Pulse survey asked for fans to vote on who the most pleasant surprise in college basketball has been this season.
Here’s how they voted:
- San Diego Aztecs (23-0, 12-0): 21.7 %
- Baylor Bears (20-1, 9-0): 20.5%
- Rutgers Scarlet Knights (16-7, 7-5): 19.4%
- Dayton Flyers (20-2, 9-0): 18.8%
- Florida State Seminoles (19-3, 9-2): 12.2%
- Penn State Nittany Lions (17-5, 7-4): 7.9%
