With the Super Bowl in the books, Matt Miller of Bleacher Report wasted no time putting together a full, seven-round mock draft for the 2020 draft.
In Miller’s mock, two Kentucky Wildcats made the cut in Lynn Bowden and Logan Stenberg.
With their third, round 92nd overall pick, Miller projects the Baltimore Ravens to select Lynn Bowden.
This could be a potentially perfect fit, as Bowden would pair up with NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and speedy wide receiver Marquise Brown to form one of the quickest offenses in the NFL.
Baltimore went 14-2 in 2019 but was knocked out in the Divisional Round of the playoffs by the Tennessee Titans. By adding Bowden, they could add another weapon who can help them get over the hump and generate offense even when Jackson’s having an off night.
As for Stenberg, Miller projects him as the 124th overall pick (fourth round) of the Denver Broncos.
Stenberg was the lone Wildcat to play in the prestigious Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, back on Jan. 25. According to Miller, it does not seem he improved his draft stock by much, as the fourth round has been a common projection for the former Kentucky guard.
Both former Wildcats will likely receive invites to this months’ NFL combine with a chance to boost their stocks.
