The Cats and Bulldogs clash in Rupp Arena.

Jason Marcum - Sea of Blue

The Kentucky Wildcats are back in action tonight as they take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs back in Lexington. The game is scheduled to start at 9:00 pm EST. and you can watch it on ESPN or online at WatchESPN.

It was a tough game for the Cats in their last outing against the Auburn Tigers. The environment was wild, and it seemed too much for Ashton Hagans, as he was in constant foul trouble and turned the ball over far too often. Nick Richards also had one of his worst performances over the last month, so it’s imperative that these two sophomores rebound from Saturday’s setback.

The NCAA Tournament begins in about a month and a half, so it will be important that this team bounces back in a big way. Current tournament projections have the Cats at a 4 seed, so there is much work to be done to end the season.

The Bulldogs have some solid wins on their resume and are starting to hit their stride with All-SEC forward Reggie Perry, so this will be a major test for the young Cats.
