Kentucky has a trio of future Wildcats that will participate in the 2020 Iverson Classic, a prestigious showing of some of high school’s most up-and-coming stars.
Terrence Clarke, BJ Boston, and Lance Ware, a few of the nation’s best recruits, have been named to the late-April game.
It’s far more than just a game though.
The series of festivities will include a dunk contest, three-point shootout and 1-on-1 matchups among some of the top high school basketball players in the nation, taking place at 76ers Fieldhouse arena in Wilmington, DE.
Boston and Clarke, two of the nation’s top-ten recruits, were named to the McDonald’s All-American game as well. These two outings will just further prove Kentucky’s dominance in recruiting.
For the Wildcats, the four-star Ware is the team’s fifth-best recruit. Devin Askew and Isaiah Jackson were both left off the list yet are considered more-coveted recruits. Both were obviously still highly recruited prospects.
These two games can be the start of the excitement brewing in Lexington. Boston and Clarke already have fans feeling good about next year’s roster, but solid showing against top competition can further excite Wildcat faithful.
