Another former Kentucky wildcats guard is going to get his shot in the NBA after having success in the G-League.
Mychal Mulder has been playing for the Sioux Falls, where he is averaging 17 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and a steal while shooting 45% from the field and 39% from three.
After putting up impressive numbers, he will now get a shot in the league as the Golden State Warriors have signed Mulder to a 10-day contract according to Shams Charania.
This is Mulder’s third season in the G-League, and he has seen his number increase each season. He averaged 9.3 points in Year 1, that jumped to 13.7 the following season, and now he improved even more with 17 in Year 3.
Even though we didn’t see this version of Mulder at Kentucky, it is still awesome to see any former Cat have success in the pros, and hopefully Mulder will be able to turn this 10-day contract into a bigger deal in the near future.
