Lynn Bowden Jr. will have to wait his turn to really show the scouts what he is made of, as he won’t be participating in any running drills during this weeks NFL Combine in Indianapolis due to a right hamstring strain. That also includes the 40-yard dash.
“I’m very disappointed, I literally did this like two or three days ago before I got here. I was talking to my agent and told him I’d still do it, but I don’t really want to go put nothing bad down on paper and it hurt me,” Bowden said.
The plan now is to perform at Kentucky’s pro-day on March 27th, to really show what he is made of and to be at full-strength when he does so.
On a side note, Bowden was asked during media what he thinks is next for Kentucky Wildcats football. His answer? A trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship:

Bowden was part of the foundation, now it’s time for the younger Cats to carry it on.
