The Basketball Hall of Fame London Showcase now has a date and tip-off time, as the Kentucky Wildcats and Michigan Wolverines will face off at 1 p.m. Eastern Time on Dec. 6.

The first installment of the highly-anticipated showdown will take place in the famous O2 Arena. Tickets will go on sale Thursday at 5 a.m. Eastern Time (10 a.m. GMT) via AXS and the O2 Arena.

For fans planning to make the trip overseas, the game will tip off at 6 p.m. local time in London.

The Wildcats and Wolverines will play three games in total — the first one being a fundraiser for the Basketball Hall of Fame. The second will be in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the third will be in Rupp Arena on Dec. 4, 2021 and and Dec. 3, 2022.

“This series with Michigan checks off a lot of boxes when we’re looking at teams to schedule,” UK head coach John Calipari said in a press release. “The first thing is, to add an opponent like Michigan and to do so at a point in the schedule where we’re beginning to find out who we are as a team will be important in our development.”

UK’s game is one of two that will take place at the O2 Arena on Dec. 6. Marist and UMBC will also face off prior to the Wildcats-Wolverines showdown. Broadcast information has not yet been announced.
