This time last year. Jemarl Baker Jr. was finding his college footing with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Now, Baker is becoming a bigger contributor for an Arizona Wildcats team set to make the NCAA Tournament and could do some damage in it, including a recent 17-point outing in a win at Washington.
Baker is also letting everyone know who won the 1997 NCAA National Championship between the two Wildcat programs with this t-shirt:
I’m sure a lot of Cats fans will be upset by this between the fact that Baker was at UK less than a year ago and that UK helped Baker gain immediate eligibility to play for Arizona. But in all honesty, I respect the troll move.
He’s not at UK anymore. He’s at Arizona, so good on him to fully embrace wearing that Wildcat jersey and its history of one national championship overall and one Final Four in the 2000s.
