It was the classic old tale of two halves for the Kentucky Wildcats against Vanderbilt this season.
In the first matchup in Rupp Arena, the Cats found themselves trailing 35-28 at halftime before rallying for a 71-62 victory.
The same thing happened for the rematch in Nashville, as Kentucky floundered to a 36-27 halftime deficit, then crushed the Dores in the second half on the way to a 78-64 win.
Tyrese Maxey led the way with a game-high 25 points, while Ashton Hagans flirted with a triple-double at 11 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and just one turnover in one of his best games in a Kentucky jersey.
Immanuel Quickley chipped in 18 points, including a pair of dagger triples in the closing minutes to silence the Dores for good.
Up next, the Cats return to Rupp Arena to host a surging Ole Miss team that’s won three straight.
