How will the Wildcats fare in the SEC this week?

The Cats will play two of the SEC’s bottom feeders this week.

The Kentucky Wildcats are preparing for another week in the SEC as they’ll travel down the Bluegrass Parkway to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores Tuesday, then play host to the Ole Miss Rebels Saturday.

Kentucky’s matchup with Vanderbilt will be a rematch from a January battle that saw the Cats travel by double-digits in the second half but escape with a victory.

Since their last matchup with the Commodores, Kentucky is 2-1, while Vanderbilt ended their 26-game SEC losing streak with a victory over LSU.

Saturday, Kentucky will battle Ole Miss for the first time this season. It is the only scheduled meeting between the two teams this season.

Ole Miss is just 3-7 in conference play but blew out the Florida Gators on Saturday to prove they’re still not to be taken lightly.

Kentucky has defeated Ole Miss in their last 10 meetings and has not lost to the Rebels at Rupp Arena since 1998.
