Despite finishing with a losing record of 4-6 and firing both offensive coordinator Eddie Gran and quarterbacks coach Darin Hinshaw, the Kentucky Wildcats 2020 season is not over yet.
Sunday, head coach Mark Stoops confirmed that if his team is invited to participate in a bowl game, they will make the trip and play.
In a normal season, UK would not have been invited to a bowl, but with teams’ scrambling to get as many games in as possible amid the COVID-19 pandemic, every team is eligible to be selected for a bowl game regardless of record.
Thus, UK will likely earn a bowl bid for a fifth straight season and have a chance to make it three bowl championship seasons in a row.
With Stoops announcing his team will go to a bowl if invited, here are a look at the latest projected destinations and opponents for the Wildcats.
