With the regular season finally ended, we can now focus on bowl season for the Kentucky Wildcats. Despite having only four wins, every team was eligible for a bowl this post-season due to the coronavirus’ effect on college football.
Kentucky went 4-6 on the season, with a few games that they let slip away that could have boosted their resume. With the 4-6 record however, Kentucky is still in good position to land in a pretty good bowl game, including a trip to Lexington South, AKA Nashville, on the table.
According to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio, he was told that Kentucky has a “90 plus percent chance” to end up in the Music City Bowl or the Liberty Bowl. The Music City Bowl would be a matchup with Wisconsin, and the Liberty Bowl would be a matchup with TCU.
Both are rather decent bowl games against two good opponents that Kentucky should be capable of beating.
However, I am not sure I am emotionally ready for another postseason game against Wisconsin.
