It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for - the Kentucky Wildcats and the Louisville Cardinals!
It’s a matchup that shuts down the entire state of Kentucky for a day. Parties are thrown, trash talk is exchanged, and there’s always a part of the population that is sad at the end of it.
Since Cal came to Kentucky, the Cats have absolutely owned the rivalry. Cats fans everywhere have had bragging rights nearly every season, except for just one.
However, this year, it’s going to be extremely tough for Kentucky. They’ve had their worst start over the last 100 years, sitting at 1-5.
Most of their games have been competitive, but the Cats always find a way to lose it at the end. It’s something that both fans and Calipari just isn’t used to.
As for Louisville, they’ve had a lot of issues with COVID over the past few weeks, but it looks like they are going to be pretty much solved just in time for the game.
It’s going to be one of those grind it out games, like it usually is in this rivalry. If the Cats want to win this one, they are going to take it to a new level.
Will this be the game the Cats end their slump? Or will their losing ways continue? Let us know in the poll and comments below!
