Pro Football Focus has named nine Kentucky Wildcats to All-SEC teams.
Center Drake Jackson, offensive tackle Darian Kinnard, linebacker Jamin Davis, and running back Chris Rodriguez were all named to the First Team. Nose tackle Quinton Bohanna, safety Yusuf Corker, and punter Max Duffy were named to the Second Team. Finally, offensive tackle Landon Young was named to the Third Team, and defensive lineman Josh Paschal was named Honorable Mention.
Kentucky tied with the Florida Gators for the fourth-most selections with nine. Alabama (18), Georgia (15), and LSU (10) were the only schools with more selections than the Cats.
Jackson was one of only two centers in the entire country to earn an 80.0-plus PFF grade as both a pass- and run-blocker. Meanwhile, Kinnard had the third-highest positively graded run-block rate among FBS tackles.
Davis was a stat-filler, leading all SEC off-ball linebackers in run-defense grade at 89.0. His also had just eight missed tackles on 104 attempts this season. Rodriguez actually led the SEC with 6.87 yards per rush and was the second-highest-graded running back in the entire country.
As of now, it looks like all nine of Kentucky’s All-SEC performers are getting ready to take on the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Taxslayer Gator Bowl on January 2nd in Jacksonville, Florida.
