The Kentucky Wildcats are set to face the Louisville Cardinals this Saturday.

Originally, the game was scheduled for noon EST on ESPN2. However, Louisville just announced the game will now be played at 1 pm on ESPN.

Kentucky, currently 1-5 and riding a five-game losing streak, needs a win here in the worst way, especially with reports of dissension within the team after Cam’Ron Fletcher was asked to step away from the team. The Cats are coming off a 75-63 loss to North Carolina in the CBS Sports Classic.

Louisville, sitting at 4-1, just got shellacked at Wisconsin 85-48 as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. The Badgers led 44-18 at halftime, which was the biggest halftime deficit in Louisville basketball history.

Leading scorer Carlik Jones was sidelined for that game but is expected to play Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh, so he should be good to go Saturday vs. the Cats.

This is truly a must-win game for the Cats, though that’s been the case for a few weeks now.
