Kentucky vs. NC State in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl

After going 4-6 against a brutal SEC schedule, the Kentucky Wildcats are being rewarded with a selection to the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. The Wildcats will take on No. 23 NC State and be looking for a third consecutive bowl victory.

With accepting the invitation to play in the Gator Bowl, Kentucky ties a school record for going to bowl games in five consecutive seasons. And despite being and unranked team going up against the No. 23 team in the land, Kentucky has opened as a three-point favorite over the Wolfpack.

NC State finished with a record of 8-3 in ACC play. Their losses came to No. 20 Virginia Tech, No. 14 North Carolina, and the No. 11 Miami Hurricanes. Their most notable wins were over Pitt and No. 21 Liberty.
