Twitter reactions to Kentucky falling to 1-5 after losing to UNC

Another brutal loss.

NCAA Basketball: North Carolina at Kentucky Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Kentucky Wildcats are 1-5 for the first time since the 1926-27 season, as they suffered their fifth-straight loss today after falling 75-63 to the North Carolina Tar Heels in the CBS Sports Classic.

Kentucky could not stay out of foul trouble as Lance Ware and Isaiah Jackson both fouled out with over six minutes left to play, Olivier Sarr fouled out with just over 4:30 to play, and Terrence Clarke fouled out with a minute left.

Despite the foul trouble, Kentucky took the lead into halftime (38-34), but the Tar Heels out scored the Cats 41-25 in the second half to pick up the victory.

With the loss, UK’s NCAA Tournament hopes took yet another hit as they’re now 1-5 and have lost all four of their games against non-power five opponents so far this season.

Here’s a look at what Kentucky Twitter had to say about yet another UK loss.
