NCAA Basketball: Kentucky at Georgia Tech Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been a dismal stretch for the Kentucky Wildcats as they sit at 1-4 on the season. They are in real danger of going 1-5 today as the schedule continues to get more difficult. Instead of taking on the UCLA Bruins, the Cats will face the #22 North Carolina Tar Heels.

With the Louisville Cardinals on the schedule for next week, things don’t get any easier before conference play starts. We saw some fight in the second half of the loss vs. Notre Dame, but I don’t know how much of that was Kentucky instead of Notre Dame just being tired.

I have a feeling we will see it sooner rather than later today.
