On Wednesday, the Kentucky Wildcats received several signatures for their newest recruiting class on National Signing Day.
However, aside from the incoming freshmen it was reported that we should expect Mark Stoops to take 4-5 transfers as well.
The first transfer domino fell on Wednesday, as former four-star recruit Justice Dingle announced he would be on his way to Lexington, joining his brother, Jordan Dingle, who signed with the Cats.
Now, we have another player to keep an eye on, as Virginia Tech offensive lineman Bryan Hudson has entered the transfer portal.
Hudson was also a former four-star recruit who is from Georgetown (KY) and ended up picking the Hokies over the Cats.
Kentucky will most likely lose a lot of experience and depth on the offensive line. Hudson would be a perfect fit and is someone that could come in a play right away, potentially as a starter.
It’s unclear if Kentucky is a legitimate suitor for Hudson in the transfer market, but I would fully expect Mark Stoops and his staff to be completely involved and do everything they can to get him in Lexington and join the Big Blue Wall.
