NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Miami Dolphins Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

It’s a shame Kentucky fans didn’t have the chance to see former Wildcat Lynn Bowden catch passes from former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. But who are we kidding... Tagovailoa probably never even thought of coming to Kentucky and Bowden was busy single-handedly running his team to a bowl game appearance (and victory) last year before both entered the NFL draft.

Now, the two NFL rookies are suiting up for the playoff-chasing Miami Dolphins and playing significant roles for their team. Tagovailoa, of course, is taking snaps as the team’s QB 1 while Bowden has found himself over the last couple of weeks as one of the Dolphins’ best pass-catching options.

Over his last two games, Bowden has 11 catches and 133 yards on 13 total targets. He appears to be building a quality relationship with the highly-accurate Tagovailoa as the tandem is becoming lethal in the short passing game. It’s taken some time for Bowden to get going, but it’s always nice to see when former Wildcats start to find their groove.
