The Kentucky Wildcats are in the middle of their search for a new offensive coordinator, as Mark Stoops decided to fire Eddie Gran following the Cats’ 4-6 season that saw a ton of offensive struggles.

Stoops is looking for someone that can come in and run a high-powered offense that puts up a lot of points, which can complement the outstanding defense we have grown accustomed to.

Throughout the search, we have heard a lot of different names as potential candidates to fill the position.

However, the general consensus is that Stoops has narrowed his list to four options, including Joe Moorhead, Liam Coen, Bush Hamdan, and Brian Brohm.

Joe Moorhead is currently the offensive coordinator for the Oregon Ducks. He was also the offensive coordinator at Penn State during the 2016-2017 seasons when the Nittany Lions put up well over 400-yards of offense a game. Moorhead was also the Mississippi State Bulldogs’ head coach from 2018-2019.

Liam Coen is currently in his first season as the assistant quarterback coach for the Los Angeles Rams. He was also the Rams assistant wide receivers coach during the Rams’ Super Bowl appearance in 2018.

Brian Brohm is a former Louisville Cardinals quarterback who has been the Purdue Boilermakers Co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach since 2017. He has coach along side his brother, Jeff Brohm, since 2016. Although he has never been a play caller at any level, he was a very successful collegiate QB and send three years in the NFL.

Bush Hamdan is in his first season as the Missouri Tigers’ offensive coordinator after previously serving as the Washington Huskies’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2018-19. Before that, he was the Atlanta Falcons’ quarterbacks coach for one season.

With these being the four main options for the open offensive coordinator spot in Lexington, who do you hope ends up getting the job? Let us know in the poll below and the comments section!
