The University of Kentucky has replaced on-air talent & former player Rex Chapman on their sports network and decided to look in another direction. Chapman has been replaced by the Kentucky legend Jack Givens, who will co-host the Don Franklin Auto Countdown to Tipoff pregame radio show alongside Dave Baker,
The 1978 national champion will provide expert analysis on radio and television for the Wildcats. As basketball season arrives, Givens will also provide insight on television for the UK Sports Network.
You can find Givens and Baker on one of at least 90 affiliates across the station. You can also hear the show at UKathletics.com and the Kentucky Basketball Facebook page.
It’s excellent that Kentucky is able to keep a home-grown talent on these UK Athletics programs, so join us in congratulating Jack Givens for joining the UK Sports Network.
