Former Kentucky Wildcats star Lynn Bowden Jr.’s NFL career has not gone as planned thus far.

Bowden was drafted in the third round and 80th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders, only to be traded to the Miami Dolphins a week before the start of the season.

Since joining Miami, he has struggled to find playing time and will now be forced to sit out as the team announced Bowden placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

This does not necessarily mean Bowden has tested positive for the virus, as the reserve list is for both players who test positive or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19 that forces them to quarantine.

Bowden has played in four games for the Dolphins so far this season and has made one start in which he has totaled just four carries for nine yards and made one reception for -1 yard.

The Dolphins are currently 4-3 and will travel west to take on the 5-2 Arizona Cardinals without Bowden this weekend.
