In his first season at the pro level with the Seattle Mariners, White preformed up to his billing going into the pros this season. Coming out of UK he was scouted as being an excellent defender for the position, he continued that trend to win a MILB Gold Glove in 2018. Well he didn’t have to wait long to add another one to his trophy case.
White, for the season, had a .998 fielding percentage, committing only one error on the season. He even ended the season with 49 games without an error in 333 putouts and 30 assists. Also he finished second among first baseman with a 2.2 UZR.
Although his season at the plate wasn’t phenomenal he more than made up for it with his glove over at First.
Congrats on what should be the first of many for Evan!
