Both the men’s and women’s University of Kentucky basketball teams will take the floor today as the women face off against Belmont and the men will take on Richmond.
Kyra Elzy’s Wildcats will take the floor at 4 p.m. ET on the SEC Network looking to pick up win #2 on the season without leading scorer Rhyne Howard, while John Calipari’s Wildcats will face off against Richmond at noon ET on ESPN, also looking for a 2-0 start to the season.
Belmont figures to be a challenge for the Wildcats, as the Bruins are the four-time reigning Ohio Valley Conference champions, and Richmond is a tough mid-major program that many considered to be a borderline top 25 team to start the season.
So along with the slate of NFL games today, you can also get your basketball fix throughout the afternoon and evening.
Go Cats!
