It’s here! Basketball has finally returned to the Bluegrass.
The Kentucky Wildcats take on the Morehead State Eagles tonight to tip off the 2020-21 season at 6 pm EST on the SEC Network. You can stream the game online at Watch ESPN or with a free trial of fuboTV.
The Cats are once again poised to have a special season under Coach Cal. While the team is entirely new outside of Keion Brooks Jr. and Dontaie Allen, they have the #1 recruiting class in the nation with some really talented players.
BJ Boston should have an outstanding freshman season along with Terrence Clarke. Olivier Sarr had a great season at Wake Forest last year so look for him to make an immediate impact.
As it is every year, it will be a process to get this team to work together. With all the new faces, combined with the most bizarre offseason in history, it’s going to take time.
But the most important thing: We’re playing basketball.
Come March, this team should be as good as any and ready to compete for a championship.
Are you ready?! Let’s go!
You heard @terrenceclarke_.
