The Kentucky Wildcats were destroyed on the road by the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday by a score of 63-3.
The Cats came out fighting, but after bad penalties, blind SEC referees, botched long snaps, and unforced errors, Alabama made them pay big time. At one point, Kentucky should have had 17 points, but instead had just three. They should’ve had two picks, but dropped them both.
We all knew UK didn’t have much of a shot today, but it’s so frustrating when you just beat yourself. Kentucky missed a field goal and then snapped the ball over the holder’s head on another field goal attempt. In addition, UK should’ve scored touchdowns on at least two of the drives that ended in field goal attempts.
It is what it is and ‘Bama is the best team in the country, but it’s just frustrating to watch. What’s even more frustrating was that UK was playing so well with at least 10 players, including Chris Rodriguez, Jamin Davis, and Max Duffy, all out due to COVID. Oh well. On to the next one.
Next up, Kentucky will travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators.

Game MVP
I have to go with Bossman Fat here. He was lights out on the defensive end and one of the few positives that came out of today’s game.
Alabama was clearly making it a point to not throw the ball his way, and when they did, they weren’t successful. Kelvin Joseph broke up at least two passes and intercepted another. He returned the interception for 21 yards after snatching it in the end zone.
Bossman is tied for the lead in the entire country with four interceptions on the year. The hype was clearly justified, despite his slow start.
It’s not just his play, though. If you’re looking for some entertainment tonight, just look up YKDV Bossman Fat on YouTube. You’re welcome.
