The Kentucky Wildcats are set to get an answer on four-star lineman Rayshaun Benny in the near future, as the Michigan native has set a November 9 decision date for a commitment that will be streamed on CBS Sports HQ at 3 p.m. EST.

Benny is ranked as the 15th-best defensive tackle in the class of 2021 by 247 Sports. He also ranks 188th nationally and sixth in the state of Michigan. His final four schools include Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State.

Defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale, who is known for his ability to recruit the state of Michigan, has led Kentucky’s recruitment of Benny.

While UK is in the mix, Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines are heavy favorites for Benny’s services.

All seven of the 247 Sports Crystal Ball projections are for Michigan, while all Rivals FutureCasts are also for the Wolverines.

If Benny were to shock the insiders and pick Kentucky, he’d become the second highest-rated commitment of Kentucky’s 2021 class only behind offensive lineman and Lexington native Jager Burton.
