College basketball is on the horizon, and it seems that the Rupp Arena floor is ready to go when the Cats tip off their season in just a couple weeks.
John Calipari tweeted out this picture of the Rupp Arena floor, which has some new additions.
The floor is down and ready for the season at @Rupp_Arena at the @CentralBankCntr! Thanks to my friend Luther Deaton and his team at @centralbankKY for their continued support of @KentuckyMBB. Can’t wait for you to see our team play on that floor! pic.twitter.com/GtmUMTW5st

The notable differences: the Central Bank Center signage on the floor and on the video board.
Rupp Arena and the convention center are in the midst of a roughly $275 million expansion and renovation to add exhibit hall space, premium club areas which will be used for alcohol sales at Kentucky basketball games, a brand-new lobby, and a new glass and metal exterior finish.
However, that project isn’t slated to be completed until 2021.
What do you think about the new floor design?
