Kentucky is now 0-2 after a debilitating overtime loss to Ole Miss 42-41.
It was a game where Kentucky made far too many mistakes on what should have been simple plays that proved costly in what otherwise could have been a blowout win over the Rebels.
Apparently, Mark Stoops wasn’t happy with how the game was officiated. After the game ended, Stoops was seen chasing the refs off the field as he chewed into them.

While there were some questionable calls in the game, there was no excuse for Kentucky to lose this game. Between AJ Rose being tackled short of the end zone after celebrating prematurely, Rose fumbling at the 1-yard line, Matt Ruffalo missing a field goal and an extra point, Terry Wilson taking a horrific sack on 4th down late in the fourth quarter (on what was a very questionable decision to go for it on 4th down to begin with), and the defense simply imploding, this loss is all on Kentucky.
Granted, Stoops is probably still furious after last week’s no-touchdown debacle at Auburn. But this loss is on his team, not the refs.
