The Kentucky Wildcats are looking to bring in another top recruiting class in 2021. So far, they have a commitment from four-star point guard Nolan Hickman who is ranked No. 52 overall, according to Rivals.
It is now starting to look like they could be adding a top-10 player to the class very soon.
Daimion Collins is currently ranked as the No. 10 player in the class and is the No. 5 overall power forward and could be a Wildcat very soon.
Collins was being recruited to Texas by Jai Lucas before John Calipari decided to add Lucas to his staff in Lexington. Soon after the hire, Collins added Kentucky to his list and now it appears that the Cats have all the momentum.
Last week, several recruiting experts predicted that Collins would be on his way to Lexington. At the time, the Oklahoma Sooners still held majority of the Crystal Ball predictions.
That has now changed in dramatic fashion as the Cats now hold 93.3% of the predictions with Oklahoma holding just 6.7%, according to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball.
Collins is officially down to five schools, the Texas Longhorns, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Kansas Jayhawks, Oklahoma Sooners, and Kentucky Wildcats. This has been viewed as a Cats vs. Sooners battle going down the stretch.
Kentucky has been on a streak of very positive recruiting news in recent weeks, and it appears there’s a chance it gets even better very soon.
So, where do you believe Collins will be heading?
