The Kentucky Wildcats (2-2) enter Saturday not just looking for their third straight win of the 2020 season but will look to extend their five-game winning streak over the division rival Missouri Tigers (1-2) to six.
Kentucky has not lost to Missouri since 2014 and are 7-3 all-time against the Tigers with a 5-3 record since the Tigers joined the SEC in 2012. Their first win over Missouri in the Mark Stoops era came in 2015 against the 25th-ranked Tigers (seen above), which proved to be a big step forward for a program that has since made four straight bowl games.
This will be a much a different Missouri team than past years, as Eli Drinkwitz is now the head coach of the Tigers after a four-year Barry Odom era that saw Missouri post a 25-25 overall record and go 0-4 against Kentucky.
Missouri opened the Drinkwitz era with an expected loss to Alabama and then a disappointing blowout loss to Tennessee. They then made up for those losses as in Week 3, they knocked off the defending champion LSU Tigers.
