It has been quite the turnaround for this Kentucky Wildcats football team, especially the defense.
The Cats have forced 10 turnovers in their last two games, nine of those being interceptions and three of those interceptions were returned for a touchdown.
Kentucky now ranks in the top 20 of most defensive categories in College Football, compared to the first two weeks where they ranked near the bottom.
With all that said, none of it matters. The SEC always presents a tough battle no matter which team is playing.
This week, the Cats are headed to Missouri to take on the Tigers who are coming off a postponed matchup vs Vanderbilt, so they should be well rested.
As for the rest of their schedule, it’s been a bumpy ride for the Tigers. They took losses to Tennessee (35-12) and Alabama (38-19) but picked up a thrilling win over LSU 45-41.
LSU is nowhere near the team they were last year, and seeing that big loss to Tennessee should get Cats fans excited.
But again, it’s the SEC and it’s always a tough matchup. Right now the spread is Kentucky at -4.5.
