Twitter reactions to Skyy Clark committing to Kentucky

Clark is the first commit of the 2022 class.

B/R Hoops

Late Thursday night, 2022 five-star point guard Skyy Clark pledge his commitment to the Kentucky Wildcats over the likes of UCLA, Memphis and North Carolina.

For a while throughout the summer, Clark to Kentucky seemed like a done deal, but then North Carolina made a strong push for the point guard, gaining some steam and eventually earning all of the crystal ball picks.

Over the last few weeks however, Clark to Kentucky was back on the table, and here we are. Clark pulled the trigger and became the first class of 2022 player to pledge his commitment to the Wildcats.

Clark has been rumored to be looking at a possible re-class option to 2021, but for now, Kentucky is prepared to take Clark in the 2022 class.

Will Skyy Clark’s commitment to the Wildcats start at eventual domino effect of recruits here soon? Four-star Bryce Hopkins will be the next Kentucky prospect to commit next, and the chances of Hopkins ending up in Lexington looks likely.
