For the first time since 1984, the Kentucky Wildcats defeated the No. 18 Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium Saturday with a dominate 34-7 victory over their long-time rival.

The win marked the Cats first victory over a ranked Tennessee squad since 1959 and their first win over a ranked opponent since they defeated No. 12 Penn State in the 2019 Citrus Bowl.

With the victory, UK is now 2-2 on the season. After losing games to Auburn and Ole Miss to open the season, the Cats have now won two games in a row.

Here’s a look at how their monster win over Tennessee has affected their bowl projections.
