It won’t be long until the 2020-21 college basketball season arrives.
In the meantime, the Kentucky Wildcats have started fall camp as the prepare for the next journey. Practice No. 1 of the new season took place Friday, and the Cats got two more sessions in with a day off coming Monday.
Following Sunday’s practice, head coach John Calipari posted a brief recap of the weekend on Twitter, saying his team is obviously just getting adjusted to the college game, but they’ve worked and practiced very hard, and Calipari loves the effort. He’s also excited about the shot-blocking potential of this team.

I am having an absolute ball coaching this team. We've got a lot of work to do, but I'm hopping out of bed each morning ready to go because these guys want to work and these guys are eager to learn. In addition, Kentucky has been posting more practice highlights over the weekend to give us a peak at what’s to come.
