After just one game of the NBA Finals, the Miami Heat are in a world of hurt, figuratively and literally.
Miami was beaten 116-98 by the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, a game that saw Bam Adebayo leave the game after 21 minutes with shoulder and neck strains. The Heat also lost star guard Goran Dragic to a foot injury.
Now, the Heat are listing both Adebayo and Dragic as doubtful to play Friday in Game 2 of the finals.
Miami’s Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic are listed as doubtful for Game 2 of NBA Finals vs. Lakers.

In his NBA Finals debut, Adebayo was held to eight points on 2/8 shooting with four boards. He was outshined by fellow Kentucky Wildcats alum and current Lakers forward Anthony Davis, who finished with a game-high 34 points to go with nine boards, three blocks and five assists.
Miami is already dangerously thin in the frontcourt, so without Bam, Davis could have another monster night Friday as he inches closer toward his first NBA championship.
Hopefully, we’ll get to see Adebayo back on the court before the series ends.
