The Kentucky Wildcats are scheduled to play two games in the SEC this week. The first will be at Georgia tonight, and the second will be at home Saturday vs. Alabama.
Kentucky’s last four games have been quite an interesting story. The first two couldn’t have been more different than the last two.
Against Utah and Ohio State, where UK lost, the team looked disengaged. They weren’t making any plays on offense, and Nick Richards was still very reluctant to step up.
In their last two games, we’ve seen both Immanuel Quickley and Nick Richards play big against Louisville and Missouri. Quickley’s ability to hit shots and Richards’ ability to dominate the paint is exactly what this team has needed.
Going forward, if they continue to give this team that kind of play consistently, the Cats could dominate the SEC. However, seeing Ashton Hagans getting hurt put a scare in all of BBN.
Luckily, Calipari said after the game that it was an ankle injury, not an Achilles. And it now appears Hagans will face the Dawgs.
With that said, his status for these two games are up in the air for now. So, what do you think? Will the Cats continue their winning streak this week, take a loss, or lose both games?
