Class of 2022 guard Bruce Thornton will be visiting Lexington on Saturday for the Kentucky Wildcats’ game vs the Missouri Tigers.
Thornton hails from Alpharetta, Georgia and is ranked as the No. 30 overall player according to Rivals. 247 Sports considers Thornton the No. 44 overall player in the class of 2022 and the No. 3 player in the state of Georgia. He is considered the No. 8 point guard in the class of 2022.
Thornton has a slew of offers currently: home-state schools Georgia and Georgia Tech, along with Ole Miss, Florida, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Auburn and Xavier. However, Kentucky has been hot on the recruiting trail for Thornton and if an offer comes in the very near future, Kentucky could jump ahead as the leader for a great four-star talent.
Thornton is only one of a few class of 2022 prospects that Kentucky is going after. Kentucky is also recruiting highly touted Jaden Bradley, along with Scoota Henderson, Skyy Clark, and Paul McMillian.
