Prentiss “Air” Noland is a name to remember.

Mark Stoops and his staff are getting in early on a future big-time recruit, and by early, I mean really early.

Prentiss Noland, also known as “Air,” is a phenom quarterback from the state of Georgia and announced via Twitter that he received a scholarship offer from the University of Kentucky.

The 6-2, 180-pound athlete is currently only in 8th grade, also known as middle school. By a quick look at his social media, Noland considers himself to not only be the best quarterback in the class of 2024, but also the best in the entire state of Georgia. After watching a few of his highlight tapes it became evident why he is garnering attention from a major Power 5 program at such a young age.

It’s hard to imagine a football player getting an SEC scholarship offer before he’s even in high school but obviously the UK coaching staff saw enough potential in Noland that they decided to offer him extremely early. This tactic could prove to be a great strategy because sometimes players feel inclined to show loyalty to the program that has been after them the longest. Noland said in his tweet that this was his first football offer.

The 2019 fame of Lynn Bowden has to play some sort of factor in Noland’s impression of the program at this moment in time. It’s somewhat crazy to think that Kentucky is “cool” program right now considering the decades of hardships. But recruiters like Vince Marrow have changed things entirely and now the Cats are getting top their talent.

The 2020 roster will be loaded with talent at the quarterback position.

There is no denying that the Kentucky staff has shown tremendous ability to identify and develop talent from all over the country.

Take a look at Prentiss “Air” Noland’s highlights and see what you think.
