On Monday, three-star linebacker Devon Williams committed to Kentucky with an announcement on Twitter:

The Dublin Coffman (OH) product, who measures in at 6-1 and 215 pounds, is ranked as the nation’s No. 43 outside linebacker by 247 Sports Composite. He also held offers from the Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Arkansas Razorbacks and West Virginia Mountaineers. Rivals ranks him as the No. 15 prospect from Ohio in 2021.
Being that Williams is an Ohio product, it’s no surprise to learn that tight ends coach and recruiting extraordinaire Vince Marrow was the primary recruiter. Kentucky offered Williams in February of 2019.
For what it’s worth, Williams attends the same high school as four-star athlete Michael Drennen, who is easily Kentucky’s biggest remaining target in the 2020 class.
