PJ Washington slams college officiating

The Kentucky Wildcats just got a massive resume builder win on the road against Texas Tech as they pulled out the 76-74 win in OT.

Down the stretch, Kentucky did a lot of things to shoot themselves in the foot, but the officiating was brutal against the Cats.

Some mind-boggling calls against the Cats had Coach Cal and the players pleading with the officials and in shock over some of the calls they made.

Late in the game, the official scorekeeper had Tyrese Maxey down for his 5th foul when in fact it was his 4th. Kentucky asked for them to check and Maxey was able to return to the game.

But there were several other painfully bad calls in overtime against the Cats, which almost cost them the win.

Former Kentucky star and current Charlotte Hornets forward, PJ Washington took to Twitter to show his displeasure with the calls.

Him and Brad Calipari had a hilarious exchange about the Tweet.

College officiating is one of the most frustrating things about the game today and this was just another example of how poorly some of these games are being called.

Its not just in Kentucky games either, this is an issue across college basketball.
