The Kentucky Wildcats put together a complete performance on Tuesday to take down the Georgia Bulldogs 89-79. With contributions from everyone that stepped on the floor, the Wildcats improved to 5-1 in the SEC and 14-4 overall.
Ashton Hagans led the way with 23 points and 9 assists. Nick Richards continued to be fantastic and put up 20 points and 8 rebounds of his own. EJ Montgomery and Johnny Juzang both stepped up in big ways, as well.
This was a good win for Kentucky to prepare for their big SEC/Big 12 matchup with Texas Tech on Saturday.

Game MVP
Ashton Hagans seemed to be especially determined today. While I would love to recognize the work of Montgomery, Juzang, or even Keion Brooks, Hagans was the reason the Wildcats were in control for most of the game.
Hagans has always brought his A game against Georgia, and this final (you’d think) regular season matchup obviously brought out his best. He also helped Kentucky completely shut out Anthony Edwards in the first half, and by the time the potential No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick got going, Kentucky was in command.
If Hagans can be this guy in March, sign him up for whatever seed and region of death the committee wants to dole out. Hagans gives this team a chance to beat anyone and make a deep postseason run.
