The Kentucky Wildcats returned to Rupp after a two-game road trip for their second matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Cats got off to an excellent start on both ends of the floor and they were able to jump out to a quick 10-2 lead.

After an Ashton Hagans jumper, Kentucky held a 20-10 lead but it was time for Georgia to heat up after their 3/20 start.

The Bulldogs would go on a big run to take a 29-28 lead for their first lead of the game and forcing coach Cal to take a timeout.

Kentucky answered with a 7-0 run to build a 35-29 lead forcing Georgia to take their own timeout.

The rest of the half was back and forth by these two teams, but it was Kentucky that took a 41-35 lead into the break.

Kentucky got off to a horrible start in the 2nd half, as Georgia ran off four quick points making it 41-39 forcing Cal to take another timeout.

Just like in the 1st half, Kentucky answered with a run of their own to push the lead back to 51-43.

Georgia wouldn’t go away, as they cut the lead back to three at 57-54 before the under 12 media timeout.

But, once again the Cats had a huge answer as they were able to turn it up defensively and pushed the lead to 69-56.

The Cats held a 79-67 lead at the under four timeout and Kentucky was able to roll to an 89-79 victory.
