The Kentucky Wildcats are looking better every time they take the floor.
The three guards, Immanuel Quickley, Tyrese Maxey and Ashton Hagans as well as big man Nick Richards have been the top 4 for this team.
Quickley has turned himself into a bucket and that has been the biggest change for this team. Having a knockdown shooter opens the floor for everyone else and you can see that with this team’s performances.
With the current win streak, the Cats have found themselves back in the top 10 in the latest polls as they moved up four spots to No. 10 on Monday.
Also, we got an updated Bracketology from Joe Lunardi.
The current projected 1 seeds are; Gonzaga, Duke, Baylor and Butler after Kansas was moved off the 1 line after their loss at home to the Bears.
Kentucky saw their seed move up 2 lines to be projected as a 4 seed in the Midwest Region. That would have their first weekend games be played in Albany followed by a trip to Indianapolis should they reach the second weekend.

If the Cats had to play the highest seed all the way to the Final Four, their path would go like this:
Round of 64: Stony Brook
Round of 32: Ohio State
Sweet 16: Butler
Elite 8: Kansas
In my opinion, that is not a bad path for the Cats at all. They would get a rematch with an Ohio State team that has a record of 1-4 since they beat us, and none of the teams in our path are teams I wouldn’t want to play.
Elsewhere, Mike Decourcey of FOX Sports is even high on the Cats, as his bracketology has them as a 3 seed in the East Region:
1️⃣ @DukeMBB, @BaylorMBB, @AuburnMBB, @ZagMBB

This region features Duke, West Virginia, Memphis, Ohio State, Villanova and defending national champion Virginia all looking to escape New York and into the Final Four in Atlanta.
If the Cats had to play the highest seeds, their path would go like this:
Round of 64: Charlotte
Round of 32: Memphis
Sweet 16: West Virginia
Elite 8: Duke
This seems more daunting than the ESPN projection, especially since Duke looks like the nation’s best team right now, while West Virginia ranks No. 1 nationally in KenPom defensive efficiency.
How do you feel about these projected paths to the Final Four?
