The Kentucky Wildcats are going to be one of the top teams in the country next season with the recruiting class the John Calipari and his staff are bringing in.
One Kentucky signee in the class that had seen his ranking slip a little is now looking to make a jump up.
BJ Boston is currently ranked as the #17 player in the 2020 class, but Eric Bossi talked about Boston in a recent Bossi’s Best. He noted that Boston’s ranking should rise in the updated rankings that are set to come out the last week of January.
“Given that he’s already in the national top 20, there’s only so much room for Boston to go up, but I would say that he should be in the argument for the top 10 in 2020 at this point. He’s really blossomed as a creator off the dribble and is shooting the ball with good consistency from deep. He’s been very impressive so far this season.”
SportsCenter and 247 Sports’ Jerry Meyer even took notice of Boston’s ball handling.

BJ Boston showed NBA playmaking, if not point guard, ability tonight.

Kentucky already has a signature from top 5 recruit Terrence Clarke, but it is looking like they could have at least two top 10 players when the 2020 class is completed.
The NCAA Tournament, more times than not, comes down to who has the better guards. Well, Kentucky’s backcourt is going to be one of, if not the best backcourt in the country in 2020.
