That tells you how important Ware is to UK.

Coach Cal and his staff are working on the 2020 recruiting class, and now we have an update with one of their big man targets for the class.

Lance Ware is the #32 player for the class, and the Kentucky Wildcats are currently the favorite to land the 6-9 power forward from Burlington, NJ.

Also on Ware’s list is the Michigan Wolverines, Miami Hurricanes , Ohio State Buckeyes, and Providence Friars. For now, Michigan is viewed as the biggest challenger, but the Cats are still working hard to land the talented forward.

Jake Weingarten of stockrisers.com reports that John Calipari and assistant coach Kenny Payne will be having an in-home visit with Ware today.

Ware is also still working on planning a visit to Lexington in the future.

It’s one thing for Cal or Kenny Payne to visit a recruit, but having both of them in to see Ware speaks to how important he is to UK. In terms of 2020 big men, Ware is probably the best bet to end up picking the Cats, so it looks like Cal is trying to seal the deal in time for the fall signing period.

The Cats currently have 83% of the crystal ball projections on 247 Sports and 100% at Rivals as they look to land Ware for what is shaping up to be a loaded 2020 class for UK.
