The Kentucky Wildcats are holding their breath after watching Terry Wilson go down with an injury.
It came late in the third quarter of their Week 2 matchup vs. Eastern Michigan. Wilson took the snap and ran down the right sideline for a big gain but was horse-collar tackled in the progress from behind. Wilson began favoring his leg while on the ground in pain.

After being down on the field for several minutes, Wilson was carted off the field. He had to be carried by two assistants to the cart and couldn’t put any weight on the injured leg.
With Wilson out, potentially for the long term, Sawyer Smith is now the quarterback. He came to UK as a grad transfer from Troy over the summer. He’s looked good by all accounts, but there’s a reason why Wilson was the guy hands down.
We will update this story if anything else comes out...
