As expected, your Kentucky Wildcats have started the season 2-0 with their most recent win over Eastern Michigan by a score of 38-17.
However, it appears that Terry Wilson’s season could be in jeopardy. During Saturday night’s win, the Kentucky quarterback was carted off the field after suffering a knee injury. Wilson appeared to say “it’s over” when being carted off, leading to the assumption of a season-ending injury.
Sawyer Smith came in and threw multiple completions (including a touchdown pass) to seal the win. Overall, though, Saturday wasn’t the best of days for the Big Blue Nation, but the Cats still came away with a win.

Game MVP
Despite quarterback Terry Wilson going down during the second half of Saturday’s win, Kentucky wideout Lynn Bowden managed to put together a sound game, catching seven balls for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Bowden also threw a 32-yard pass to Wilson as well as carrying the ball twice 17 for yards. The Big Blue Nation hasn’t seen a receiver quite as elite as Lynn Bowden since the days of Randall Cobb. But a breakout season last fall, Bowden has had an excellent start to his 2019 campaign.
Though the season potentially moving forward without Wilson at quarterback, Bowden’s talent edge should allow him to maintain success with Kentucky’s backup plan at quarterback.
