The Cats have a bad taste in their mouth from the first time these teams played.

Happy College Football Saturday, Big Blue Nation.

The Kentucky Wildcats are off to a 1-0 start to the college football season. Last week they handily defeated the Toledo Rockets out of the MAC. This week they welcome in a different team from the same conference: the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

The Eagles are also 1-0 on the season as they defeated Coastal 30-23 in week one.

These two teams faced off two seasons ago and the result was 24-20 in favor of the Cats but it wasn’t pretty. EMU gave UK all they wanted and then some. It took Mike Edwards intercepting Brogan Roback on the last play to get the win.

The offensive line was particularly poor in that game and John Schlarman has been reminding his unit of that all week long. Don’t expect these Cats to overlook their opponent today. Even though UK defeated Toledo 35-17 and completely dominated the second half of that game, coach Mark Stoops wasn’t happy with the performance and he let it be known in his postgame presser.

As long as the coaches have the full attention of the players, and I think they do, this should be an extremely one sided affair.

I hate to look past Easter Michigan but..... LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!

SEC bold predictions Week 2 | Saturdays Down South- Their bold UK prediction is that Terry Wilson has his first 300 yard game. Here’s their reasoning:

Kentucky wants a quick start in Week 2, and given that Eastern Michigan allowed 304 passing yards to Coastal Carolina, the Wildcats will look to Lynn Bowden, Ahmad Wagner and Josh Ali to continue to development of a passing game from anemic last year to potentially dangerous this season. Each guy nabs a touchdown from Terry Wilson, who has his first 300-yard passing game in Lexington as the Wildcats win by 21.
